1. Open up Facebook. It's a dark-blue app with a white "f" on it. This will open your Facebook News Feed if you're currently logged into Facebook on your phone or tablet computer.
- If you typically aren't logged into Facebook, enter your e-mail address (or contact number) and password to proceed.
2. Tap ☰. It remains in either the bottom-right edge of the display (apple iphone) or the top-right corner of the screen (Android).
3. Scroll down and touch Setups. It's near the bottom of the web page.
- Avoid this step on Android.
4. Faucet Account Settings. This option will take you to your Account Settings page.
5. Tap General. It's the leading alternative on this web page.
6. Touch your name. You need to see this near the top of the display.
7. Modify your name. Tap the First Name, Middle Name, or Surname field, type in your favored name, and also repeat for the various other fields as needed.
8. Tap Evaluation Modification. It's a blue switch at the end of the screen.
9. Select a display choice. Facebook will present variations of your name at the top of the screen; tap an alternative to select it as your name's look.
10. Enter your password, then touch Conserve Changes. You'll enter your password in the message field above the Save Adjustments switch. Doing so will alter your Facebook name.
