Facebook Change Profile Picture
For example, suppose you intend to alter your account photo. Looks like the type of alternative you could locate in, claim, Account Settings. Nope, not there. Personal privacy Setups? Nuh-uh.
Well, possibly if you click your name to open your account, you'll locate the option there. Let's see ... no, there's nothing that claims "change profile photo." Oh, below we go, I'll bet if you click Update Details ...
Another strike. What's that, now, four?
Facebook Change Profile Picture
This is yet another of Facebook's unbelievably rare setups that's in fact hiding in plain sight. (Previous offender: place sharing.) To transform your profile picture, do this:
1. Open your account by clicking your name, either on the left side (listed below the Facebook logo design) or the ideal edge of the toolbar up top.
2. Computer mouse over your current photo image, click Edit Profile Picture, after that pick an option (Select from Photos, Upload Image, Edit Thumbnail, and so on) from the drop-down menu that appears.
That's right! All this time, the choice was right there-- given you floated your mouse in the ideal spot. Come on, Facebook, you can do far better. (Quick note: If you occurred to mount one of the Facebook-photo-zoom devices I stated a few days ago, you may discover that the pop-up photo obscures the Edit Account Photo device. Bleh.).
There is, admittedly, an additional method to set about this. If you intend to transform an image that's already in your Facebook collection into your account image, you could-- yet, once more, discovering the choice can be maddening unless you know where to look.
Locate the image you want, then click it to bring up the full-size version in its own window. Currently, see that little gear symbol in the upper-right edge? Click it, and then select Make Account Picture. Why there's not a button for this alongside Tag Picture, Include Location, and so on is beyond me.
Does this aggravate you as high as it does me? Or do you think I'm being excessively rough? In any case, share your thoughts in the comments!
