How Do I Change Facebook Profile Picture
This is yet an additional of Facebook's ridiculously obscure setups that's actually concealing in ordinary view. (Previous culprit: area sharing.) To transform your account photo, do this:
1. Open your account by clicking your name, either on the left side (listed below the Facebook logo) or the best side of the toolbar up top.
2. Mouse over your current image picture, click Edit Profile Image, then select an alternative (Choose From Photos, Upload Image, Edit Thumbnail, and so on) from the drop-down menu that shows up.
That's right! All this moment, the choice was right there-- supplied you hovered your mouse in the ideal place. Come on, Facebook, you can do better. (Quick note: If you happened to mount one of the Facebook-photo-zoom devices I mentioned a few days ago, you may discover that the pop-up image covers the Edit Profile Image tool. Bleh.).
There is, admittedly, another method to tackle this. If you want to turn a photo that's already in your Facebook collection right into your account photo, you could-- however, once again, finding the alternative can be infuriating unless you understand where to look.
Locate the image you desire, then click it to raise the full-size version in its very own window. Now, see that little gear icon in the upper-right corner? Click it, and afterwards choose Make Profile Image. Why there's not a switch for this alongside Tag Photo, Add Location, and so on is past me.
